CANDY KING showed the way in the three to two path, then along the inside while getting collared by an outer bidder passing the three furlong pole, dug in and battled gamely with an outer pair into the final furlong, got headed while subtly put to narrow rail quarters reaching the final sixteenth, fought back late and reforged an advantage while shifting out at the wire. MENDELS MATE stalked near the inside, awaited racing room in the two path at the quarter pole, split the leaders at the furlong furlong grounds, wrestled a narrow advantage at the sixteenth pole, dueled with his inner persistent counterpart while getting floated out and brushed late, then missed at the wire. THAILAND was bumped between horses at the start, prompted the leader while remaining out in the six path around the first turn, backed off to stalk while tucking to the four path down the backstretch, rebid in the three path at the three furlong pole, vied turning for home, got outkicked by an inner foe at the furlong grounds and yielded to the top pair. KHETAM broke a step slow, lacked speed in the two to three path then stayed on mildly to edge fourth late. JUTLAND was bumped between horses at the start, raced off of the pace in the four path, progressed leaving the half mile pole, chased within striking range around the far turn, but flattened out in upper stretcn then lost fourth late. SMALL TOWN tracked in the three path, then between horses down the backstretch, chased before moving out to the five path into the lane and gave way. EMPIRE WEST saved ground off of the pace to no avail. MOUNTAIN WOLF bumped with an outer foe at the start, raced off of the pace two wide and between horses, then in the four to six path around the far turn and tired. JR SWEET FEET bumped with an inner foe laving the gate, trailed in the three to four path then got outrun and was eased through the lane.
