Footnotes
SWISS SLANG pursued from midpack three wide, progressed in the four path turning for home, tipped to the five path in upper stretch, bid outside of the leaders shortly after then drove clear. THE GREAT OZ showed the way in the two path, felt pressure from an outer prompter around the far turn, clung to an advantage in upper stretch, but got headed by a wider challenger at the furlong grounds, proved no match then held place. CAN'T HUSH THIS tracked along the inside, crept closer in the three to four path around the far turn to bid entering the lane, got outkicked by an outer co-bidder in midstretch then was denied place. JUST A FAIR SHAKE tracked two wide, chased in the three to two path around the far turn then lacked a bid. GOES THE CLOWN trailed along the inside, took the far turn in the three to four path and moved up. SPECIAL CALIBER raced off of the pace in the four to three path, then in the two path around the far turn before failing to menace along the inside. FACTOR ANALYSIS lacked speed near the two path and got outrun. ALEMAN prompted along the inside before tipping out to stalk the leader from the three path around the first turn, pressed into and around the far turn but faded between horses entering the lane. CURLY LARRY AND MO broke a length slow, saved ground off of the pace, weakened around the far turn and was eased through the lane.
