CATALINA CAT led near the inside early on, got headed by an outer rival nearing the backstretch, settled into stalking stride shortly after, ranged closer saving ground turning for home, rebid along the rail entering the lane then drove clear. MEMES tracked along the inside before moving to the three path and between horses into the backstretch, ranged up in the four path to bid outside of the leader rounding the far turn, got outkicked by an inner foe entering the lane, kept on while proving no match for that one and reclaimed place late. MEMPHIS PHAROAH raced close up in the three path, moved to the front at the three quarter pole, drew clear shortly after, held sway from an outer challenger while remaining in the three path around teh far turn, but got headed by an inner bidder entering the lane, proved no match for that one the yielded place late. PERMIT TO CARRY tracked from the five path then held fourth between bidders while not threatening the top trio. NICO'S DERBY RUN pursued from midpack in the four to three path around the first turn, chased whlie moving to the inside into the final furlong then was denied fourth. COLLATOR leaned outwardly leaving the gate, raced off of the pace near the four path, shifted to the six path into upper stretch, offered a bid for fourth but needed more. RIGHTEOUS STAR raced off of the pace in the two path, got shuffled behind rivals rounding the far turn, moved out turning for home then failed to threaten. THIRD DEGREE lacked speed along the inside and made little impact. MOON CHARGER was slow into stride, trailed in the two path and never got involved. CHEESESTEAK pursued from midpack in the three to two path around the first turn then weakened rounding the far turn.
