EVENING NEWS showed the way uncontested, then widened under a drive in upper stretch before flopping back to his left lead at the sixteenth pole. RACHMAN stalked the eventual winner from the two path then proved second best. OCEAN VICTORY broke a bit outwardly, raced at the rear two wide, shifted to the four path into the lane then edged show late. FINN MCSORLEY pursued from the two to four path, pursued in the three path around the far turn, proved no match for the top pair then lost show late. YOUR MISSION broke a step slow, raced at the rear along the inside, then two wide and between rivals into the lane and failed to menace. NICE SHOT DOUG tracked along the inside, shifted to the three path into the backstretch then faded while moving back to the inside around the far turn.
