KNOCKONWOOD was brushed by an outer foe at the start, trailed in the two path, shifted out to the five path at the half mile pole before progressing into the far turn, bid four deep turning for home, forged an advantage entering teh lane, but drifted inwardly leaving upper stretch, put inner foes in tight and clipped heels with an inner rival at the furlong grounds, recovered to inch clear shortly after, drifted out then narrowly lasted. GOT GONE stalked close up along the inside, chased while shifting out to the three to four path in upper stretch, rallied with a late kick to bid inside of the leader nearing the wire but missed. BLACK ROSE vied for the lead with an inner rival while in the three path, then between foes around the far turn, got outkicked by an outer pair reaching the lane, got floated inwardly by outer rivals before steadying at the furlong grounds, recovered and kept on well while drifting out late but needed more. TAPAJO BELLE was hustled at the start, raced forwardly two wide and between horses early on, bumped with an outer foe while put to tight quarters into the first turn, stalked two wide and among foes into the backstetch, chased around the far turn, shifted out to the six path entering the lane then stayed on willingly. CANDLE'S LEGACY saved ground off of the pace, shifted to the four path and between foes at the furlong grounds then stayed on mildly. MODERN ESCAPE set the pace near the inside while vying with an outer rival into the backstretch vied with an outer trio leaving the five sixteenth pole, got headed shortly after, then steadied when put to tight rail quarters leaving upper stretch and was protected thereafter. MY SECRET DREAMS raced forwardly three wide while taking contact from an inner foe into the first turn, stalked in the four path, bid three wide and between foes around the far turn, vied into the lane, but got. UNION EMPRESS raced off of the pace in the four path, floated wider into the lane and made little impact. GOLEXGO got antsy in the starting gate, came in and brushed a foe at the start, checked slightly while behind bumping foes into the first turn, raced off of the pace in the three to two path and between horses then got outrun through the lane. THE RIDER OF MY SECRET DREAMS CLAIMED FOUL AGAINST KNOCKONWOOD AND THE RIDER OF MODERN ESCAPE CLAIMED FOUL AGAINST BLACK ROSE; BOTH ALLEGING INTERFERENCE IN THE STRETCH RUN. FOLLOWING THE OBJECTIONS, AS WELL AS A STEWARDS' INQUIRY, KNOCKONWOOD WAS DISQUALIFIED AND PLACED SEVENTH.
