MY BUDDY BROOKS pressed the leader from the four to three path into the backstretch, led leaving the five sixteenths pole, dug in after moving back to the four path into upper stretch, battled with an inner bidder through the final furlong and narrowly prevailed. CHICA CHULA bumped with an inner rival at the start, stalked in the two path, waited between foes rounding the far turn, ran on to bid inside of the leader in upper stretch, battled through the final furlong but missed. ASK AMANDA settled in the three path, crept closer to track between foes around the far turn, chased in the four path into the final furlong then stayed on to prevail for show. CURLS NITE OUT bumped with an outer foe at the start, pursued from midpack along the inside, chased around the far turn, stayed on evenly and missed show. CEEBEE tracked from the three to four path, then within range around the far turn, chased five wide into the lane and yielded. PEACOCK ROAD raced off of the pace in the two path and failed to menace. HEARTS UNITED steadied between horses soon after the start, lacked speed in the four path, shifted to the five to six path in upper stretch and failed to threaten. ISA LEI set the pace inside of the eventual winner, yielded at the quarter pole then weakened.
