BULL BY THE HORNS took light contact from an inner foe at the start, trailed in the three path, rallied in the six path into the lane, bid leaving upper stretch battled with an inner foe through the final furlong and held. STEEL IMPERIUM broke a step slow, settled off of the pace in the three path, rallied in the five path along with an outer rival entering the lane, bid while put to tight quarters among foes coming to the final furlong, sparred with an outer foe through the final furlong but was denied. TRENDSETTER stalked along the inside, chased around the far turn, stayed on to edge show at the sixteenth pole then held that position. TARTABULL was brushed by an inner foe into an outer rival at the start, tracked in the three path and between horses, chased in the four path turning for home, got outkicked by an outer pair in upper stretch, kept on through the final furlong but missed show at the wire. RHYTHM LADY bobbled subtly and brushed an outer foe at the start, stalked in the four path, bid outside of the top pair around the far turn, dueled with only a single inner foe while tucking to three three path at the quarter pole, led briefly in upper stretch, but got outkicked by an outer pair at the furlong grounds then yielded between horses. J J GREY set the pace in the two path, vied with an outer prompter down the backstretch, then with an outer pair around teh far turn, dueled with his widest counterpart reaching the quarter pole but faded between horses at the furlong grounds. EAST VILLAGE prompted the leader from the three path, vied down the backstretch then between rivals into the far turn but weakened at the five sixteenths pole. THE RIDER OF STEEL IMPERIUM CLAIMED FOUL AGAINST BULL BY THE HORNS ALLEGING INTERFERENCE IN THE STRETCH RUN, BUT THE OBJECTION WAS DISALLOWED BY THE STEWARDS.
