Footnotes
PARAMOUNT'S PICK tracked along the inside, loomed a danger inside of foes and behind the leaders around the turn, pursued the clearing leader into upper stretch, tipped to the three path to take aim outside of that one at the furlong grounds, then ranged up to bid leaving the sixteenth pole and drove past late. SPLENDOR GLOW set a pressured pace along the inside, shook free in the two path entering the lane but got caught by an outer bidder late. GO FOR BOURBON bobbled subtly at the start, chased from the four path, pursued with striking range at the quarter pole proved no match for the top pair and was best of the rest. VILNIUS veered outwardly leaving the gate, pressed from the three path but yielded between horses entering the lane then gave way while hanging on his left lead. DENIKOS broke slowly, trailed in the five to four path then improved position. DOC DALLAS chased two to three wide and between foes then tired. BORIS BADENOV prompted two wide and between horses but gave way around the turn.
