MISSY BEE got caught four-wide on the first turn, settled in mid-pack up the backstretch three-wide, started a forward move from the three-furlong pole, gradually closed the gap on the tiring leader and was up in the final yards. RAPIDO ROSA made the early lead without much effort going into the first turn, maintained a clear lead to the far turn, opened up leaving the quarter pole, got a little short in the final furlong, and yielded in the final yards. VINOS ANGEL got caught five-wide on the first turn, settled in the back half of the field, then started to move forward on the far turn, continued wide into the stretch, and finished well to move up into third while no threat to the top pair. GIGI'S WORLD raced three-wide off the pace up the backstretch, continued around the turn, but lacked a late kick. CORA'S LEGACY secured a rail position under a tight hold on the first turn, raced close up to the far turn, was under a drive midway through the far turn, and went evenly through the stretch. ZIGGZAPPA unhurried from the break was the trailer turning up the backstretch, launched a mild rally midway through the second turn, flattened out in upper stretch, but still managed to improve. HIDDEN RECIPE was roused from the break but was not quick enough to contest the early pace, settled in along the rail in the back half of the field for the first half-mile, dropped to last before the far turn, then kept on to pass tired foes in the stretch. STEAMPUNK was pushed from the gate for early speed but did not respond, settled in mid-pack, then offered nothing in the late stages. SPOILS OF WAR got forward position two-wide on the first turn, tracked RAPIDO ROSA up the backstretch, was close up until the quarter pole, then weakened through the stretch.
