ODORICO dueled for the lead with an outer rival, led as a wider bidder challenged at the sixteenth pole and held. BIG WALT broke a step slow, stalked along the inside, tipped to take aim outside of the embattled leading pair entering the lane, sustained gradual progress to bid at the sixteenth pole but was fended off. BALAM dueled for the lead outside of the eventual winner, then yielded place to an outer bidder late. PATRONAGE dropped back at the start, raced towards the rear in the two path, split foes in the six path into the final sixteenth and advanced to narrowly gain fourth. CANNON pursued from midpack in the two to three path, then stayed on one pace and missed fourth. ANDY'S CANDY broke slowly, trailed in the three path, swung out to the eight path into upper stretch and moved up to miss fourth. SOMETHINTOBELIEVEN chased two wide and between horses, moved to the inside into the lane and lacked a bid. GOODMENARESCARCE pursued three wide, floated to the six path into upper stretch and lacked a kick between rivals. UNEVEN KIEL pursued within striking range three wide, but floated four wide into the lane and faded while hanging on his left lead. UP TO NO GOOD raced off of the pace in the four path, then in the six to seven path in upper stretch and failed to factor.
