Footnotes
MACKADOO pressed outside of the leader early on, stalked that run-away rival down the backstretch, chased around the far turn, closed in entering the final furlong, reeled in the tiring leader at the sixteenth pole and drove clear. QUOKKA raced at the rear two wide and between horses, trailed in the three path around the far turn then rallied to reach place late. KING OF KENTUCKY set the pace along the inside, drew away from outer pressers entering the backstretch, opened up a wide advantage, remained in hand around the far turn, was set down in upper stretch, but got caught by an outer bidder at the sixteenth pole, weakened and lost place late. KING CURLIN raced off of the pace in the three to five path and moved up. SBAGLIATO laid off of the pace along the inside, then in the two path around the far turn, gained show from outer rivals while moving out entering the lane, but yielded between horses in the final furlong. FREEDOM STANCE tracked from the two path, gained show from outer foes around the far turn, but moved out to the four path and tired between rivals entering the lane. DECLARATION TIME stalked in the three path, then faded between horses rounding the far turn and was done early.
