QUIET MADDELENA broke sharp getting to the lead utilizing the inner post, relinquished the front end on the rail in midturn while still patiently handled, countered inside to regain the lead on the fence with a quarter mile remaining and drew off convincingly down the lane. BLAZING SKY shared the rear inside another in the beginning, could see the field midway around the oval, found her best stride when called upon between foes five wide in upper stretch and will a solid late charge, got up for second money well back of the runaway winner. FOREST B was under a snug hold hounding the pacesetter outside in the early going, took the advantage outside the eventual winner for a brief moment at the five sixteenths pole, could not continue on up front three wide turning for home on the outside and faded in the last couple of strides to get nabbed outside for the place share. SHAMRA was in the second flight outside another challenger down the backside, kept pace still tracking the engaged lead duo while outside a rival in midturn, moved to the three path straightening out for home and ran on willingly between foes while never switching leads to the wire to hold for a minor placing in the end. MITOLE POWER had the fence in mid-pack early on, made little gain on the dueling twosome when scrubbed for more saving all the ground through the bend, was in the mix for a share just off the rail at the top of the stretch but wilted inside rivals in the final seventy yards. NO WHAMMIE broke in a slight tangle leaving the gate to co-trail outside in the four path down the backstretch, offered a brief turn of foot three to four wide in midturn, shifted out widest in the six path for the drive to the wire but had little finish to offer down the lane.
