Footnotes
SAVE THE DATE was quick to take the lead from outside, moved clear soon after the shifted in to dictate terms from nearer the fence, drew off leaving the turn, was put to urging through upper- to mid-stretch, received just a mild hand ride the final sixteenth once safely well in front. SOBIECH came out at the break bobbling just slightly, chased in behind the eventual winner inside, was ridden along past the seven-sixteenths, proved no match. POWAQA settled outside off the pace, went four to five wide on the turn, was carried out nine deep leaving the turn by a drifting foe, came in through the stretch and ran on. ROOKIE COURT stalked the leaders going three to four wide into the turn, was asked near the five-sixteenths, drifted numerous paths leaving the turn, faltered in the stretch. SERENADING AMAYA broke a step slowly and in a bit tight, lacked early speed despite urging, trailed, came out in the stretch, was never near enough to threaten. SULTRY SOPHIE broke out a bit, tapped on the brakes near the four- and one-half as a rival in front moved nearer the inside, made no bid. FOLLOWNG AN OBJECTION BY THE RIDER OF SULTRY SOPHIE AGAINST SOBIECH ALLEGING INTERFERENCE NO ACTION WAS TAKEN.
