ECHO WITH LAUGHTER was under a snug hold having a slim advantage going down the backside into the headwind, comfortably rolled along on the fence through the turn edging clear of his closest pursuer by the quarter pole, shifted to the two path in control turning for home and had enough left for the drive to hold sway for the gate to wire tally. BIG BABY HENRY kept a close eye on the front duo while isolated in third down the back straight, began to close the gap on the lead twosome on the turn with a quarter mile to go, swung out to the three path posing the only threat to the pacesetter in upper stretch, stayed on the incorrect lead to the wire, determinedly kept on trying to the end but could not get to the winner late. SECRET STORM prompted the issue on the outside, continued to try to apply pressure to the frontrunner chasing in vain around the turn, angled out four wide giving way in the mix up top at the top of the stretch and finished up one paced in the last furlong just saving for the show money inside at the finish line. ALWAYS A WAY co-trailed on the fence in the early stages, began to pick up the bit saving ground passing an outside rival at the quarter pole, moved out to the three path for the stretch run and had good late energy closing in, but just missing for the show award outside at the wire. DIVINE LEADER settled outside another in mid-division, shifted out further in midturn trying to hold position around the oval, angled to the five path for the late going but could not get involved while outside horses through the stretch. JAMIESTA stalked near the rear between foes in the two path, made little progression still just off the fence around the bend, swung out widest in the six path at the head of the lane but failed to menace in the stretch running. PET SOUNDS travelled three deep sharing the rear outside along the back straight, backed away going three wide on the turn at the five sixteenths pole and could not factor just off the rail in the stretch drive.
