GALLEY HEAD stalked near the rear going four wide on the first bend, travelled three deep advancing outside foes down the backside, started to make a strong rally three wide outside horses three furlongs out, moved to the four path in the stretch run, stayed on the incorrect lead to the finish but still kept grinding away under left handed encouragement and got up in the shadow of the wire for the win. POWER OF DESTINY (GB) had his ears pricked loose on the lead early on, continued up top along the backside quickening the wind aided pace, was collared outside on the far turn with a quarter mile remaining, battled inside losing the lead at the furlong pole but did come back on late showing grit to capture the place share. VAZHI tracked the pacesetter outside on the initial turn, moved closer to shadow outside still down the backstretch, closed in to bid for the lead with a quarter mile still to go, had a head in front now between horses at the furlong marker and was ever so lightly outkicked in deep stretch in a tight finish for the top three positions. BEAUTIFUL SKY was restless in the starting gate prior to the start, settled into strdie under a long hold sitting behind the pacesetter on the rail in the early stages, could not quicken with the lead trio on the final turn at the quarter pole, shifted out five wide in upper stretch and finished up one paced for a minor share in the end. ELLA IT IS settled on the outside in mid-pack to begin, remained between foes watching the front twosome along the backside, tried to make a rally moving with the eventual winner outside at the three eighths pole, had to be checked in tight quarters between foes leaving the five sixteenths losing all its run and cantered home in the lane unable to get involved again. PEACE POSEY was void of early foot seeing the field into the first of two turns, still remained at the rear down the backside, lagged well behind on the final bend and could not be a factor in the stretch drive.
