Footnotes
DAVID'S ROSE tracked from inside, saved ground on the turn, angled six wide at the top of the stretch, struck the lead past the furlong marker and drew clear. ONDINE LADY bumped a rival lightly at the start then was urged forward, chased the leaders from outside, went three to four wide on the turn, was carried out and bumped seven wide at the top of the stretch, kept on late to get up securing the place. FOREST B broke in the air, raced up behind runners tapping on the brakes slightly past the seven-sixteenths, saved some ground near the rail on the turn, kept on inside in the stretch and got the nod for show. VICTORIA ELIZABETH was very lightly brushed in the early going, chased two wide between foes, came out a bit turning into upper stretch, was outfinished for show honors. QUIET MADDELENA was urged at the start, forced the pace dueling inside but off the fence, drifted to the five path leaving the turn, yielded in the stretch. VANDOO dueled outside a foe, was carried six wide and bumped a rival at the top of the stretch, came out in mid-stretch and ran on but was not a late threat. SUMMER SNOW broke a half-step slowly, was forced in and brushed a rival lightly in the early going, raced in tight behind runners to the half, went four to five wide on the turn, was forced eight deep leaving that bend, flattened out in the lane. IRON PYRITE was lightly bumped at the start, outpaced and never a threat.
