EMPTY HANDED threw her head at the start, trailed the field moving to the outside of runners along the backside, began to uncork a rally three wide at the three eighths marker, swung out widest in the five path full of run at the top of the lane and drove past in the final sixteenth for the stretch running win. BORIKA (IRE) pressed the issue on the rail in the beginning, took off the pacesetter to have a tracking position by the half, shifted out in midturn when nudged for more coming with a rally, had the two path in the thick of it all in upper stretch, was no match for the winner in the final furlong but determinedly dug in late to just get up for the place share at the wire. JUSTINE had a narrow lead on the outside in the beginning, shook loose on the rail through the turn, still was holding her own inside turning for home, had no response when the winner stormed past at the sixteenth pole and faded late, getting caught coming to the wire for the runners up share. SHE REIGNS had the inside of a rival in the second tier down the backside, moved up taking closer order at the seven sixteenths pole, was under a drive prompting the issue three wide at the quarter pole, remained in with a chance still in the three path by mid-stretch but evened out late settling for a minor role in the end. GOLDEN SUNSET tracked in the second flight outside another along the back straight, co-trailed on the fence at the three -eighths marker, was checked briefly inside at the midpoint of the turn losing its momentum and cantered home down the lane playing no role in the stretch drive. RIDER'S CLAIM OF FOUL 3# GOLDEN SUNSET AGAINST #1 EMPTY HANDED MIDWAY ON THE TURN IN THE VICINITY OF THE FIVE SIXTEENTHS POLE WAS DISALLOWED
