Footnotes
ELGIN PARK was urged from the break going straight to the lead, set the pace from outside, edged clear past the half, led them into upper stretch spurting away again a second time, lasted under steady handling. RUNNER EYES settled off the pace stalking the leaders from outside, was encouraged passing the five-sixteenths, came into upper stretch five to six wide, finished strongly gaining late outside. GLASWEIGIAN was prominent inside the winner in the early going then taken hold strongly about the half, continued under restraint in behind the leader switching outside that one and allowed to go coming past the quarter pole, chased the winner home and kept on well but needed more while losing place at the wire. TWENTYTWO SOLES pursued from outside foes exchanging bumps with the inside rival about the half-mile marker, advanced four wide into the turn, lacked the needed late kick. TIME ZAPPER broke just a tad slowly, lacked early speed, passed tired rivals. DEPUTY GHOST was in just a hair tight early then switched out off the rail moving forward inside then between foes tracking the leader into the turn, dropped back past the five-sixteenths, faltered and faded. BAHAMA VILLAGE chased from between foes, exchanged bumps near the half, was in tight and dropped back at the three-eighths, faded.
