Footnotes
SOUPERGIRL was away alertly loose on the lead getting to the rail easily, rolled along unchallenged moving well around the oval, had complete control at the top of the lane and cruised home for the win, being geared down in deep stretch for the front-end tally. ROCK HARD ROSE tracked the lone speed down the back straight, chased the pacesetter in vain while clear of the rest of the rivals around the bend and continued to try to get to the winner the stretch drive but to no avail while comfortably securing the runners up share at the finish line. HOLIDAY WITH AMY was jostled between runners on the break seeing the in the early going, still lagged behind the group at the quarter but had good late energy on the fence to close in belatedly for the show money. NO WHAMMIE settled on the outside watching the front two runners down the backstretch, kept pace around the turn still trying to stay in touch with the front pair, moved to the three path in upper stretch and finished up one paced to last for a minor role in the end. GIZMO'S B F F settled into stride, in hand on the fence in midfield along the backside, continued on the fence running evenly around the turn, shifted three to four wide at the top of the stretch but faded in the last furlong. CANDID CANDACE travelled three deep stalking in the third flight on the outside, was hard ridden between rivals but was going in the wrong direction on the bend by the quarter pole, lost its path briefly four wide in upper stretch and could not play a pay in the late running. SHAMRA tossed its head and was squeezed between at the start, stalked close to the back of the pack between horses in the early stages, swung out widest in the five path at the head of the lane but could not factor outside in the drive to the wire.
