SOBIECH broke sharp for the front end while getting to the fence comfortably by the half, had company outside pressing the pace on the turn at the three eighths pole, battled inside throughout the turn and was stubborn on the inside, prevailing in a thrilling battle down the entire stretch to get the nod inside at the finish line. COMPLEX SECRET improved three deep outside runners along the backside, continued to move forward on the turn to bid for the lead outside by the midpoint of the turn, dueled determinedly outside with the winner through the lane never giving way but was denied at the wire in a tight finish. TANZANITE LILY pressed the issue on the rail at the start, then was reined back at the half sitting behind the frontrunner, inched up inside another through the turn, shifted out at the quarter pole making a run to have a chance three wide in upper stretch and evened out to be a clear but non-threatening third in the end. BUFF BAY tracked in mid-division between runners at the half, stalked inside in the third tier around the turn, skimmed the fence turning for home and finished up with some energy to be a fringe player when crossing the finish line. POWAQA stalked on the outside close to the back end, offered a mild rally improving three wide outside of challengers around the oval, shifted to the six path for the stretch run but failed to fire in the late going. SULTRY SOPHIE chased between horses in the early part pf the backstretch running, settled on the outside in the second flight around the turn keeping tabs on the dueling front pair, moved to the five path for the stretch run but faded between horses in the last furlong. WHERE'S SAMNBAILEY hopped slightly on the start then was slow into stride lagging behind the group while roused to stay interested along the backside, remained at the back of the pack while going three wide around the turn, moved out widest in the seven-path turning for home but could only pass a weary foe in mid-stretch. UNCARRICK TERISTIC stalked near the rear ahead of only the troubled start, made little change on the fence through the turn, shifted to the five path in upper stretch but could never get involved.
