CAMPUS QUEEN bumped a rival at the start, was carried in and steadied slightly soon after, settled mid-pack, advanced outside on the turn coming to the quarter pole five wide, exchanged light bumps in upper- to mid-stretch, kept on and edged past. ELUSIVE YAUPON broke outwardly then was urged forward, chased three to four wide, exchanged bumps in the stretch, kept on. BAZOOKA JANE was prominent among the early leaders inside, eased back and tracked the leading pair, moved out leaving the turn coming into upper stretch four wide, bid near the sixteenth pole while coming in a bit, kept on but was outfinished. LAZY Y COLLECTION was forced in a bit at the start, had forward position pressing the pace outside two to three wide into the turn, was outkicked. SUPERFLY CHICK broke a step slowly, was coaxed forward inside making a rapid early advance to track in behind the leaders, faced traffic through most of the stretch in behind runners, bumped a rival near the seventy-yard marker trying to bull through. INESCAPABLE was forced in early, settled near but off the inside, came out for the drive, showed some late interest. ILLY was bumped at the start, quickly gained a narrow lead from between runners to set the pace, was hounded by an outside foe through the turn, was overtaken and moved nearer the fence in upper stretch then bumped hard into the rail about seventy yards out. PRINCESS RAINBOW bumped a rival at the start, lacked early speed, saved ground to no avail. PRETTY VICIOUS was in a bit tight and dropped back after the opening furlong, failed to rally. REFINEMENT bobbled then was bumped at the start, clipped heels stumbling badly soon after, was well back outside, fanned eight wide, made no bid. FOLLOWING A STEWARDS' INQUIRY INTO THE STRETCH, SUPERFLY CHICK WAS DISQUALIFIED FROM FIFTH AND PLACED SEVENTH BEHIND ILLY FOR INTERFERENCE.
