WAITINGFORAHOLIDAY got away well to be mid-pack early but soon dropped back from off the inside two wide, settled off the pace just removed from the fence into the turn, moved out three wide coming to the quarter pole, rallied inside rivals in the stretch taking command by the sixteenth pole and drawing clear. CLEAR POSITION was forwardly-placed chasing inside on or just off the rail, came out leaving the turn swinging four to five wide, kept on in the stretch to be second best. SASSAGOULA RIVER was in just a bit tight shortly after the start, moved forward outside foes up the backstretch, pursued three wide on the turn, asked for run near the quarter pole, floated five to six wide into the stretch, was one-paced and made no bid. CODICIA POR VIDA broke a bit awkwardly, moved forward inside steadying a bit past the five-eighths, continued inside saving ground, went evenly. INTERIM ANALYSIS quickly made the lead moving clear, widened on the turn setting the tempo from off the rail, weakened in the stretch drifting in then out a bit. BETTERMUSTCOME bumped lightly with a rival at the start, chased from mid-pack mostly two to three wide, failed to rally. FIRSTGENERAL NIKAO got away well and chased just briefly but dropped back three wide heading up the backstretch, shifted in leaving the turn, failed to rally. SANHEDRIN rated off the pace outside unhurriedly at the back, went four wide on the turn, failed to menace. CASTLE HARBOUR exchanged a light bump at the start, was at the back off the inside, ridden along past the three-eighths, swung five wide into upper stretch, failed to make a bid. FOLLOWING AN OBJECTION BY THE RIDER OF CODICIA POR VIDA AGAINST WAITINGFORAHOLIDAY ALLEGING INTERFERENCE NO ACTION WAS TAKEN.
