QUADZILLA was under a hustling ride right from the get-go to be loose on the lead on the fence along the back straight, cruised up top unopposed throughout the turn, had a commanding advantage at the top of the lane, stayed on the incorrect lead through the stretch and held on from the fast closing runner up outside at the finish line. PHILIP BANKS broke a step slow to begin, moved up to draft behind the leader on the rail at the half, lost ground to the winner around turn deciding to shift outside by the quarter pole, had clear run moving to the four path at the top of the stretch and stormed home, closing with a rush in the final furlong but could not get there in time. DEWOLF stumbled badly on the break, then, had to be checked briefly coming up behind runners at the nine sixteenths pole losing momentum, was relegated to last just off the fence midway on the bend, and had a strong late rally on the fence in the last eighth of a mile to be a solid third considering all the trouble. FRACEN MACHO was void of early foot seeing the field while three deep on the outside, moved well three wide improving around horses on the turn, swung out widest in the six path for the stretch drive and finished up with interest to be a fringe player in the end. SIGNATURE SIR travelled three deep in mid-division along the backside, came under a vigorous ride in the three path midway through the turn but was going in the wrong direction and was one paced four wide in the stretch running. DUCKDUCKDUCK settled in midfield having the two path between rivals, regressed while skimming the fence around the bend, trailed the field on the rail at the top of the lane and could only manage to catch a weary foe late. FRAC RIGHT had an outside tracking role, being the closest one in pursuit of the pacesetter along the backside, chased but could not make any gain on the winner throughout the turn, angled to the three path for the stretch drive but came up empty by the furlong marker.
