ALPHA KADIN pressed between horses at the start, dropped back off the contesting duo at the three furlong pole, re-engaged outside to bid by the quarter pole for the lead, seized command spurting clear in upper stretch and just had enough left in the tank to hold by a narrow nod at the finish line. PEOPLE ARE PEOPLE settled on the rail in mid-division down the backside, closed the gap smartly on the rail through the bend, shifted out four wide posing a threat straightening out for home, darted inside when encouraged right-handed at the furlong marker and came with a strong surge late but just missed inside at the wire. TRUE SHOT was unhurried trailing along the backside, made little improvement on the turn, began to rally belatedly six wide at the top of the lane and had a good late kick outside foes to win the show money in the final seventy yards. CASTLE HARBOUR travelled in midfield on the outside in the beginning watching the lead trio, narrowed the margin outside rivals around the bend, shifted out to the five path for the stretch drive but could only finish up one paced to settle on the fringes. GLORIOUS REVENGE had a slim lead on the rail at the start, dueled inside going head-to-head up front through the turn, edged away from the pesky speed foe by the quarter pole, braced for the challenge by the eventual winner in upper stretch, offered no resistance inside and wilted with a furlong remaining. BIG LEW stalked near the rear down the back straight, offered a brief move trying to circle foes four wide on the outside at the quarter pole, could not continue the momentum while widest in the seven path in upper stretch and stalled in the final furlong. HARD RELOAD brushed the outside of the gate causing the rider to lose the right iron at the start, then became rank rushing up on the outside prompting the pace three deep along the backside, battled outside up top around the turn, backed away abruptly between rivals at the quarter pole and cantered home down the lane.
