BOLT ENOREE had a rail trip in mid-division along the backstretch, advanced on the fence smartly early on the turn, waited for the cue to go sitting behind the leader at the quarter pole, shot up the rail with a furlong from the finish line and was drawing away late. ZO LEE chased the pace right from the get-go, inched up around the oval to bid for the lead at the quarter marker outside, poked its head in front for a moment in mid-stretch but could not match strides with the winner in the late running. LIAM'S GIFT had a tracking spot outside watching the lead pair, backed away in the two path losing positioning going around the turn between rivals, shifted to the five path turning for home and resurged smartly with a furlong to the wire to capture the show money while not beaten that much for the place share as well. UPHILL DANCE tracked three deep in mid-pack, moved in through the turn three wide with five sixteenths from home, shifted to the five path in the mix for a share at the top of the stretch but was one paced late and settled on being a fringe player in the end. LUZ DE LA LUNA took command right from the start, rolled along up top inside setting a brisk opening half, was collared outside with a quarter mile remaining, dug in between foes until the furlong marker and faded in deep stretch losing a couple of placings late. GILD THE LILY had a stalking trip ahead of a runner down the back straight, could not close the gap on others when scrubbed on through the turn and was not a factor in the drive to the finish line outside foes. WICKENHEISER broke a step slow settling at the rear, unhurried along the backside, made little movement taking the short way around the bend and made little presence inside rivals through the stretch running.
