Footnotes
KING ROSSO was coaxed to the lead and set the pace from off the rail, kicked clear in upper stretch, had enough in reserve and held safe. STRATUS had light brushing at the start, switched out off the fence early on the first turn, settled off the leaders stalking from the two path, was between foes on the far turn, kept on in the stretch to get up and secure the place without threatening the winner. CONNOR exchanged incidental brushes at the start after a slightly awkward beginning, steadied slightly and was rank early along the inside, settled for the run up the backstretch tracking the pace along the rail, moved out three wide past the quarter pole coming into upper stretch four deep, lacked the needed late kick. STARVIN settled at the rear, was urged along near the five-sixteenths, fanned seven wide into upper stretch, ran on but needed more. STREETSHAVENONAME stalked up close three wide, was ridden midway on the far turn losing ground, drifted out a bit leaving that bend and faded thereafter. ITS IN THE CARDS brushed lightly with a rival at the start, chased from outside three to four wide, was ridden at the five-sixteenths but faded.
