Footnotes
YUKON STRIKER broke inwards at the start, seized control moving between horses to get the lead by the five furlong pole, moved well up top around the turn, opened up on the outside chasing rivals by the quarter pole, spurted further away on the rail in upper stretch and was kept to the task to hold on quite comfortably for the win. WILLIAM T was pushed in by the outside runner leaving the gate, contently tracked the pacesetter on the rail down the backside, continued to save ground keeping a close eye on the leader throughout the turn, shifted out at the quarter pole coming with his run, posed the only threat to the winner in mid-stretch but could not make any headway in the late running while easily separating himself from the rest of the pack for the runners share at the wire. GOLDEN TRUTH applied mild pressure on the outside down the backstretch, continued to hound the pacesetter outside through the turn, could not match strides with the frontrunner when giving way up front at the quarter pole and just lasted at the wire to be a distant third in the end. CASH THE MONEY broke inwards but was quickly corrected by the rider leaving the gate, travelled three deep in mid-division early on, began to pick up the bit midway on the turn closing the gap on the leaders by the quarter pole, angled four wide straightening out for home and showed good late energy outside to almost get up at the line for the show money. BIG TIME BOSS settled in midfield with runners on either side, took the short way around running evenly throughout the turn, had a brief spurt hugging the rail turning for home but ran on only one paced in the last eighth. SPEIGHTS WILL was bumped slightly on the outside at the break, had a stalking trip on the inside in the early stages, shared the rear inside another at the three furlong pole, shifted to the four path at the head of the lane but made little impact in the drive to the finish line. EXTRAORDINARY ONE (GB) was allowed to settle at the rear along the backside, caught up to a runner when going three wide co-trailing at the three-furlong pole outside, made little impression around the oval and had little to offer for the stretch drive.
