GENIUS OF LOVE broke sharp for the early lead, was content to let to outside rival take command while contently tracking the pacesetter all by herself down the backside, began to reel in the frontrunner on the turn by the quarter pole, easily went by gaining control three wide in upper stretch, opened up by the furlong pole and was kept to the task late to hold for the win at the wire. SLOANS SKY travelled on the fence in the middle of the pack, began to inch up when scrubbed for more on the turn by the quarter pole, shifted out to the four path in upper stretch and had her best run late, closing in steadily in the final furlong but could not get to the winner in time. BLAZING SKY had a stalking trip near the rear ahead of only the very troubled starter down the backstretch, took the short way around the bend but could not make much of an impression, started to reach for more ground when urged in the two path turning for home and ran on willingly between horses to be a clear third while just missing for the duel for the place share at the wire. MITOLE POWER was antsy in the stall prior to the start, settled outside another in midfield in the early going, crept closer while outside another through the turn gaining by the quarter pole, moved out widest in the five path at the head of the lane and finished up one paced for a minor role in the end. MY CASH FACTOR had a poor start, hopping up going inwards on the break then stumbling to trail the field along the backstretch, lagged well behind around the oval and could only manage to pass a very weary rival outside in the final furlong. LOVE YOU LIPPY was bumped by the outside foe on the break, set the pace loose up top along the back straight, slowed the tempo down through the turn but had a diminishing advantage by the quarter pole, offered no resistance inside at the top of the lane when the winner powered by on the outside and stopped abruptly by the furlong pole on the fence.
