Footnotes
SHESHIMAINTENANCE bobbled ever so slightly at the start, settled into stride first between foes then outside rivals in the middle group traveling mostly three to four wide heading into the turn, went four to five deep through that bend and was under vigorous hand-urging past the three-eighths, came out a couple paths turning into upper stretch, put to more strenuous urging nearing the furlong grounds, struck the lead outside the sixteenth pole and edged away. HARD TO CAPTURE was outside foes well off the leading pair early, moved clear of the early companions and shifted in, edged closer stalking the leaders on the turn moving out six wide leaving that bend, kept on for place but was no match for the winner. FOUNDER'S DAY pressed then stalked the early leader from outside, was kept very wide by that one going into the turn four deep, was urged along by the five-sixteenths, kept on in the lane to get up for show. CHIPOTLE PEPPER broke a bit awkwardly tossing her head at the start, went straight to lead setting the pace while being kept very wide and removed from the inside, moved nearer to but still off the fence heading into the turn, weakened in the stretch and lost third late. FOXY DIVA lacked early speed racing outside at the rear, went three wide on the turn passing a couple foes, kept on in the stretch but needed more. VOICE FROM ABOVE raced between foes off the pace through the early going, made no impact. HAPPY VALENTINE saved ground but was not a factor.
