ALLEY OOP JOHNNY tracked from inside a foe in the second flight while a bit keen and under a hold early, moved out on the far turn making a bid from between foes three deep at the quarter pole, dueled inside the outside rival the length of the stretch, got the nod. SUNRISE DRIVE tucked in heading to the first turn saving ground on that bend mid-pack, came out up the backstretch advancing four wide on the far turn, bid at the quarter pole, dueled with the inside foe through the lane and just missed. DELIAN LEAGUE broke in the air, settled at the back inside, advanced along the rail steadily up the backstretch and into the far turn, reached the leaders but was blocked in behind them and inside others from the five-sixteenths to the quarter pole, was able to move out at that juncture coming into upper stretch four deep, ran on without threatening the top pair. C C'S KINGDOM settled toward the rear off the inside, advanced outside five wide on the far turn reaching striking distance past the quarter pole but evened out in the stretch. PET SOUNDS lacked early speed racing outside at the rear, was encouraged along three furlongs out, came out six wide for the stretch run and passed tired rivals. I LUCKED OUT got away well setting the early tempo from inside, was soon pressured early up the backstretch, dueled into and on the far turn, came up empty. MISTER HOLDEN stalked from outside then moved forward forcing the issue up the backstretch, drew nearly even dueling into the far turn in battle through that bend but came up empty for the stretch. AWE INSPIRED was urged forward at the start, stalked from outside a foe racing two to three wide, was asked about the seven-sixteenths but had no response.
