Footnotes
SO KATE broke a bit awkwardly, switched out and made a steady early advance from between runners then inside foes heading to the turn, tracked the leaders on that bend, had room up the inside in the stretch and surged to the lead a sixteenth out and clear. PEPPER PATCH moved forward inside to take the lead after the opening stages, was shadowed by a rival, kicked clear of that one turning into upper stretch and racing off the rail but faced a new foe to the inside, was overtaken near the sixteenth pole and was second best. ASHLEE B settled well back racing off the inside, advanced on the turn coming to the quarter pole five wide, went evenly in late stretch. TRACY ARM was unhurried off the pace outside, went two to three wide on the turn, angled five wide leaving that bend, shifted in near the furlong grounds, kept on inside late but needed more. BELLE was up close outside stalking the leading pair, went three to four wide on the turn and was asked for more about the five-sixteenths, altered out in mid-stretch, ran on. CHARMINGLY EVASIVE moved forward from between foes early, pressed or shadowed the leader from outside, received some encouragement past the five-sixteenths and was asked at the top of the stretch but had no late response. GLITTER AND GLOW came in passing the gap, saved ground inside, steadied past the eighth pole when put in tight, failed to rally. HEART TAP lost the irons clearing the gap early, saved ground on the turn, came out leaving that bend still out of the irons, ran on. FLEURY was up close early, stalked from between foes from the nine-sixteenths, was encouraged coming to the quarter pole and began weakening, came up empty. KISS ME BABY trailed and made no impact.
