LAZIO had the outside position tracking in midfield, moved up three wide to the leader at the seven sixteenths pole, continued to creep up on the outside throughout the turn, loomed boldly outside three wide in upper stretch, seized control by the sixteenth pole and was kept busy late to just last from the surging rival outside at the finish line. ENDRICK was unhurried lagging well behind finding his stride down the backstretch, continued at the back end on the turn making little progression, swung out widest in the six path for clear run at the top of the stretch and stormed home in the final sixteenth, closing with a flurry in deep stretch outside just missing for the win at the wire. EL ALACRAN pressed the issue on the inside, switched out off the rail at the half, chased the leader around the turn inside another, could not keep up to the lead pair by the quarter pole, angled out to the three path for the stretch run and ran on mildly to catch the weary early leader for the show award outside right at the finish line. FIFTY B M G was hustled angling in for the lead from the start, shook clear of rivals getting to the fence by the half, rambled on around the turn, had a narrow advantage inside at the quarter pole, fought on dueling with the winner outside until the sixteenth pole and faded in the last sixteenth of a mile to get nabbed for the show money in the end. HIGHLAND LIFE stalked near the rear having one beaten while going four deep along the backside, could not improve going three to four wide around the oval and had little to show running down the lane outside of rivals. BENNYS JETS settled on the inside in mid-division, dropped back at the three eighths pole unable to match strides with the lead trio through the turn and failed to be a menace just off the rail in the drive through the lane.
