Footnotes
ARYA'S QUEST had a good position all alone poised, watching the front two runners while situated on the outside down the backside and around the oval, started to get into gear at the quart pole just off the fence, had clear aim on the pacesetter three wide in upper stretch and powered by with ease in the final sixteenth to win going away. LADY IZZY shared the rear being inside another, had the two path making no gain running around the oval, swung out widest in the five path and found his best stride late outside of horses to capture the place share in deep stretch. GOT A COMPLEX was a little eager loose up top down the backside, quickened the tempo well ahead of the closest challengers at the three furlong pole, still had the front end by a good margin but was beginning to get weary in upper stretch, ran out of gas when collared outside by the winner at the sixteenth pole and was caught at the wire outside for the runners up share. PRETTY LIZA chased the frontrunner down the backside, continued to try to close the gap on the leader but was making little gain midway on the turn, started to close in finally by the quarter pole to be in the thick of things in the two path straightening out for home but was one paced in the final furlong settling for the minors. TOTALLY IN CHARGE co-trailed on the inside in the early stages, shifted just off the rail for the stretch drive but could not find another gear to play a role in the the late running. WUNHAPPY WABBIT settled on the outside of another in the middle of the pack down the back straight ahead of a couple of rivals, made no headway off the rail around the turn on the lead three horses, shifted to the four path at the top of the lane but failed to menace between runners.
