Footnotes
I GOT MURPHED travelled comfortably up top just off the fence dictating the pace along the back straight, shook loose on the fence at the three-furlong pole, continued on the front end nursed along with little pressure applied by her rivals throughout the turn, was set down in the two path in upper stretch to increase the advantage by the furlong marker and was kept to the task late to just hang on from the outside fast closing rival at the wire. ZABARTA was at the back end finding her stride in the early going, lagged well behind around the oval, moved out to the five-path turning for home, angled out further finally getting clear run reaching for more ground in the final furlong and stormed home on the outside in deep stretch to make it a horse race for the win at the wire but coming up just shy in the end. SECRET LOAD stalked near the rear, improved three deep on the outside by the half, made a good rally circling four wide around foes at the quarter pole, angled to the six path for the drive to the wire and stubbornly fought on to capture the show money while not all that far off the winner at the finish line. WHY EM SEA AY had the rail sitting in mid-division, edged up taking the short way around the turn at the five sixteenths pole moving well, skimmed the fence in the hunt at the top of the stretch, could not get to the winner late, dueled inside others for the secondary prize in the late going but faded ever so slightly losing the three way picture for the place share and had to settle on the fringes instead. SPUN AROUND was in range settling in the three-path watching the lead dup down the backstretch, continued to chased the front pair having runners on either side throughout the turn but making little headway, shifted to the five in with a chance for a small share in upper stretch but needed more to threaten between runners in the final furlong. TEQUILASOUPERNOVA broke a step slow at the start, recovered to prompt the issue on the fence down the backside, dropped back slightly inside the leader approaching the three eighths pole, tried to counter attack shifting outside off the pacesetter in midturn but to no avail, shifted to the three path for the stretch drive but folded between rivals in the late going.
