Footnotes
DELORAINE settled on the inside in mid-division, was under a snug hold rating kindly for the rider at the half, was on hold, looking for a clear lane two wide at the five sixteenths pole, split rivals with a quick turn of foot three wide looming boldly straightening out for the drive and tenaciously wore down a game frontrunner outside in the final seventy yards for the victory. STYLISH SUE had a slim lead while prompted outside in the early going, cleared away on the first turn, slowed the tempo down unchallenged up front going into a breeze down the backside, was nursed along getting a slight breather having no pressure applied at the midpoint of the last turn, shifted to the two path in command at the top of the stretch, dug in determinedly with the winner bearing down by the furlong pole but just could not fend off that rival in deep stretch. EQUITAS was void of early foot seeing the pack leaving the gate, co-trailed on the inside down the backstretch, was stuck behind rivals in the two path at the three furlong pole having to wait to make a run on the far turn, found a seam in the four path at the head of the lane, burst through horses at the sixteenth pole and finished up solidly to be a clear but non-threatening third at the wire. ELYSIAN FIELD stalked on the outside in the beginning, shared the rear outside through the backside, started to make a rally three wide at the three eighths pole, was hard ridden trying to swoop around rivals five wide at the quarter marker, angled to thew six path for the drive to the wire but could not sustain the lengthy run and flattened out in the last eighth of a mile. NO TIME had a good forward position nestled on the rail behind the frontrunner for the first half of this two turn race, was scrubbed on for more midway on the final bend unable to match strides with the leader and weakened inside of rivals travelling just off the rail in the stretch running. HURRICANE CLAIR was hustled trying for the front end outside under the wire for the first time, settled into stride having a tracking role down the back straight, came under a ride but the pacesetter was getting away at the five sixteenths pole, moved out to the five to six path between foes in upper stretch and had little left, faltering by the furlong pole. POWER OF DESTINY (GB) settled on the outside in the middle of the field with the eventual winner to her inside at the half, offered a brief run when roused three wide midway along the last bend, lost het path having to shift out seven wide at the top of the lane and came up empty for the stretch drive.
