Footnotes
PURRFECT GIRL was nestled on the rail behind the pacesetter, continued to draft behind the frontrunner comfortably galloping along through the backside, had the two path watching the engaged duo at the quarter pole waiting to pounce, shot through hugging the rail at the furlong marker and won going away easily in the end. TALENT SHOW was unhurried co-trailing on the outside, came under a ride in the two path at the three-furlong marker but made little headway travelling three to four wide by the quarter pole, shifted out widest in the five path for the stretch run, was no match for the winner had had plenty in the tank in the last furlong but finished up to clearly be second best on this day. TWISTING PISTONS shadowed the frontrunner outside, took closer order to bid outside at the quarter pole, remained in the hunt in the three path in upper stretch, could not go with the top two late but did show some gumption to win the show battle right at the finish line. PICKFORD SWEET set a soft pace heading into the first turn, controlled the pace setting an even tempo along the backside, had company outside at the quarter marker, fought on stubbornly clinging onto the lead with rivals bearing down on both sides in mid-stretch but could not find more late when fading in the final seventy yards to settle on the fringes. BUILT DIFFERENT had an outside position sitting in mid-pack, came under a drive going three wide trying to keep up to the lead duo around the last bend, remained in the three path between foes in upper stretch but faltered in the last eighth of mile. THATSITTHATSALL shared the rear inside another, was relegated to be alone in last at the three eighths pole unable to make a run throughout the last bend, shifted to the two path at the top of the stretch but failed to menace in the late going.
