Footnotes
CALL ME SUE had an ideal set up when isolated down the backside watching the engaged duo, was nudged for more starting to lengthen stride coming up to the quarter pole, moved out posing the only threat in the four path at the top of the lane, drove past seizing control under little urging leaving the furlong marker and won going away impressively at the wire. DEVIL'S TONGUE was quickest out controlling the pace down the backside, shook loose on the turn from the closest rival at the quarter pole, moved well still up top just off the fence in upper stretch, had no answer when the winner swept past outside by the sixteenth pole and just lasted at the finish line from a fast closing outside foe for the runners up share. PROFESSOR RELOAD had a stalking role near the rear in the three path, pulled the rider improving outside horses by the half, started to make a rally angling out four wide at the quarter marker, swung out further, widest in the six path turning for home and had a sharp late charge in deep stretch just missing at the finish line closing in for the place share. FILM ACADEMY had the inside position sitting in the middle of the pack, travelled just off the fence in the turn running but could not improve around the oval but did show good intent, finishing up in the final eighth of a mile to garner a minor role in the end. LUMBERYARD flanked the pacesetter on the outside in the early going, chased outside but the leader was getting away midway through the turn, shifted to the four path in upper stretch but yielded between rivals by the furlong pole. CAPTIVATING NAME travelled on the outside in mid-division early down the backstretch, regressed three deep by the half, was hard ridden three wide around the turn making little headway and had little to offer in the drive to the finish line. SOL DE VERANO settled at the rear with five furlongs left to run, shared the back end outside another around the oval, skimmed the fence at the head of the lane but failed to menace in the stretch running inside of horses. COOLCOLLECTED broke inwards on the start, was hustled at the back leaving the chute, moved up on the fence but had to be checked coming up on a rival at the nine sixteenths pole, could not gain on horses sharing the rear inside around the bend and could not factor in the stretch drive.
