MADAME OBEY broke out a bit brushing a rival, tucked in saving ground on the first turn, advanced on the far turn moving out leaving that bend to come to the top of the stretch four wide, was carried out in mid-stretch, struck the lead late and held. TANDHONEYWITHANE settled mid-pack inside, saved ground both turns, came out four deep in upper stretch, rallied inside runners late to narrowly miss. VEERY was prominent along the inside early but ceded the lead being taken back and steadying slightly at the three-quarters, was off the loose leader but ahead of the rest up the backstretch, advanced willingly two wide on the far turn, struck the fore at the top of the stretch, drifted out in upper- to mid-stretch, was outfinished. DAKOTAH BLUE settled outside off the pace mostly three deep, came out seven wide turning into upper stretch, finished well and was gaining late but missed show honors. PERIWINKLE was a bit slow to gather shifting in early, raced at the back near the inside, could see them all on the far turn, swung seven wide into upper stretch then veered out several paths, ran on with mild late interest. BEDAZZLE ME settled outside at the rear racing two to three wide, ran on inside late. MIRAMICHI was outside mid-pack three wide, came out six deep for the drive, failed to rally. MAUNA LOA moved forward outside, soon sped clear opening a big lead up the backstretch, weakened into the far turn then gave way. ARMADA RISING (IRE) shifted in early, saved ground both turns, made no impact. PRINCESS JADE was brushed at the start, chased outside mid-pack two to three wide, swung four to five wide into upper stretch, made no bid.
