Footnotes
UNCAPTURED MOMENT pressed the pace on the rail initially, cleverly took back off the quick pace to have a nice trip all alone watching the contesting duo along the backside and throughout the turn, shifted out at the quarter pole, grinded away outside on the tiring frontrunner down the lane and just got up in the last jump under a well-timed ride. ENDRICK was hustled from the start having a slim advantage between foes leaving the chute, threw it down along the wind aided backstretch with the outside rival separating from the field, narrowly remained up top on the fence setting a scorching pace throughout the turn, disposed of the early pace runner by the top of the stretch hugging the rail, was under encouragement right handed through the lane but was getting leg weary late running out of gas and got caught right at the wire outside for the win. BIG BABY HENRY settled at the back in the beginning, picked up an outside runner at the half, edged up inside at the quarter pole, did not switch leads in the entire drive but kept on coming determinedly nevertheless and ran on solidly to be a clear third at the finish line. CIRCLE BACK JACK had the inside while sitting in mid-pack, inched up just off the fence on the bend by the quarter pole, shifted out five wide at the top of the lane and ran on willingly to garner a minor placing outside at the wire. BREAK THE SPELL co-trailed on the outside at the half, settled at the rear travelling around the turn, moved to the three path for the stretch run and finished up mildly inside of horses just losing the nod for the minors. NAPA SPIRIT (IRE) forced the rapid pace on the outside down the backstretch, continued to battle outside around the turn still continuing a very fast tempo, gave way up top three wide turning for home and folded between runners in the final seventy yards. MASTER SPY had a stalking trip with runners on either side, came under a drive three wide on the turn, made a brief rally five wide at the quarter pole, was forced out widest in the seven path but could not sustain the run and flattened out by the sixteenth pole. CHANCEL settled on the outside in mid-division, kept pace between horses but was scrubbed on to do so around the bend, moved to the six path lacking room from the drifting inside foe at the top of the stretch and could not offer a finishing kick in the late going.
