ITSASTORMYMONDAY was coaxed forward and made the lead inside entering the first turn, set the pace in the clear, kicked away in mid-stretch and held under moderate urging. KEKOA had some minor bumps in the early going when in tight, raced off the rail moving up inside a foe heading to the far turn, came out seven wide for the drive, rallied outside a rival for place. LAC MACAZA came in early moving forward, stalked mostly three to four wide, kept on but was outkicked for place. LEGAL CATCH was forced in exchanging a bump and placed in tight quarters early, raced off the rail, advanced up the backstretch into the far turn two to three wide, swung nine deep coming into upper stretch, needed more late but preserved the minor award. EL KABONG had a minor bump early, shifted in nearer the inside into the first turn settling off the pace, swung ten wide into upper stretch, ran on mildly outside runners late. CRUMLIN LAD moved forward outside, stalked the eventual winner, asked to pick it up at the quarter pole, faded in the lane. MASON'S GAMBLE tracked inside the third flight saving ground, came out four wide turning for home, failed to produce a bid. DADDY HAS DIAMONDS lacked early speed racing outside toward the rear three to four deep, swung nine wide into upper stretch moving out eleven wide soon after, made no bids. CASH THE MONEY tracked from inside saving ground just in behind the eventual winner, came up empty. SOUTHERN STYLE raced at the back off the inside two to four wide, came out a bit in the stretch, was never near enough to threaten. MASTERFUL MOMENT bobbled at the start, moved forward some but checked inside entering the first turn dropping back, saved ground inside at the rear and was not a factor.
