Footnotes
GRETNA GREEN had an ideal set-up all alone in the three path watching the contesting duo along the backside, remained outside three wide measuring the embattle pair around the bend, angled out in the five-path gathering up a full head of steam outside runners by mid-stretch and with a blanket finish coming up to the wire inched away outside for the win. WORRY LESS settled in mid-pack on the inside, had a solid turn of foot progressing smartly inside of runners around the turn, continued to save all the ground scraping paint moving forwardly in upper stretch and closed in with determination in the final furlong inside of horses but just missed for the win at the finish line. UNHEARD had the outside position sitting in midfield down the backside, closed the gap on the contesting duo throughout the turn while between rivals, shifted to the three path in the hunt with horses on both sides straightening out for the drive and finishing up strongly but was denied at the wire being on the losing end of a tight three-way photo for the win. SUIGU BELLE veered out sharply on the break but was quickly corrected, was then hustled on the rail inside of horses moving up quickly to prompt the pace inside the early leader by the half mile marker, dueled on the fence around the turn getting the better of the pace foe inching away up top by the quarter pole, spurted even further ahead just off the rail in upper stretch, was collared on both sides in the later stages and faded in the final seventy yards to settle for a hard fought minor share in the end. CAYENNE KISS was bumped on the inside on the start, shared the rear outside of the other troubled starter down the backstretch, offered a mild rally three wide on the turn from the three eighths pole until the quarter marker, angled to the five path for the stretch run but could not find more to be in contention in the late running. ONEJABTOOMANY was sandwiched between horses on the break to share the back end on the inside in the early going, could see the field unable to make up any ground around the bend, shifted to the five path turning for home but could only manage to pass a leg weary early leader in the final furlong. CITORI was away alertly for the early lead, had company inside at the half, battled outside throughout the turn under a lively pace, began to weaken giving way fighting up top two wide at the quarter pole and ran out of gas between runners in the four path by the furlong pole.
