LUPA (IRE) was roused taking the lead from the start on the rail utilizing the inside position, was hard held down the backside isolated up top at the half, was let out a notch picking up the pace on the last turn keeping the outside runner at bay, edged away increasing the advantage at the furlong pole but was getting weary late and just lasted at the wire in a tight finish for the top three positions. CRYSTAL VISIONS had an outside tracking position in the beginning, offered only mild pressure keeping the leader honest outside down the backside, chased outside never letting the pacesetter get away on the final turn, was inching up in the two path throughout the stretch drive but just couldn't get there at the wire between rivals in a with one final late surge. DESIGN broke out at the start, settled between horses near the rear under a snug hold, began to reach for more ground coming up to rivals outside at the quarter pole and was gradually gaining on the embattled duo at the furlong pole to make it a three-way horse race at the wire but was unfortunately on the losing end of that photo at the finish line. PRINCESS ANASTASIA was tucked in on the rail behind the pacesetter, settled on the fence in mid-pack down the backstretch at the half, came under a ride taking the short way around just keeping up with others on the far turn and finished up mildly inside of horses going one paced to garner a minor placing in the end. ASPEN DAWN was allowed to settle into stride seeing the field in the early stages, was asked for more by a right-handed crop at the five sixteenths offering little response making no gain around the last turn and could not factor in the three path in the stretch running. VALENCE bobbled soon after leaving the gate, travelled three wide on the first of two turns in midfield, continued three deep outside runners down the backside status unchanged, continued to have a three wide journey through second bend but was going in the wrong direction by the quarter pole, swung out widest in the five path at the top of the stretch but had little to offer.
