Footnotes
PRETTY GOOD JOKE was brushed on the inside but still was away alertly having the early advantage, relinquished the front to the inside rival at the half, re-engaged on the turn to seize control once again by the quarter pole, spurted away leaving the furlong pole and held on by a diminishing margin of victory at the wire. ADORABLE ANGEL was void of early foot seeing the field along the backside, closed the gap sharply taking the shortest route around the turn, scraped the fence coming with a good rally, shifted out in the two path finding a seam between rivals at the furlong marker and was coming to the winner in the late going but just could not get there in time. KIMBERLINA raced in tandem with an outside foe in midfield down the backside, edged up saving all the ground running around the bend, shifted to the three path in the hunt between horses in upper stretch and had a good rally with runners on either side in the late going just missing out for the second money share in a three way photo at the wire. ATLANTIC PASSAGE exchanged brushed with the outside rival on the start, settled on the outside of another in the middle of the pack at the half, had the two path between rivals in midturn but could not quicken with a quarter mile from home, swung out widest in the five path with clear run and finished with good energy outside in the conversation at the finish line for the runners up share but had to settle on the fringes in the end. SILENT SUNSHINE was nudged on having the rail to dart up inside of runners to get a neck in front by the half, dueled inside with the winner around the turn giving way up top by the quarter pole. GOT A COMPLEX was hustled on the break but had to settle for a tracking outside position watching the embattled duo while travelling three deep, continued three wide on the turn under a busy ride just keeping pace with the front pair throughout the turn, had little left for the stretch drive and yielded between horses in the four path at the sixteenth pole.
