PIPER'S FACTOR galloped to the front after a sixteenth of a mile, maintained a length lead throughout until opening up turning for home, held safe to the wire in a track record performance. RAPID TEST settled in midpack while two wide, advanced three wide on the far turn into contention and powered home in the final sixteenth without threatening the winner. ICE CHOCOLAT (BRZ) chased the winner along the inside throughout, had the place spot until the sixteenth pole but was outkicked, stubbornly holding on for the show late. WAR BOMBER (IRE) stalked the leader throughout, loomed up outside turning for home, but was outfinished down the lane , only able to garner a minor award. CHURCH AND STATE trailed along the inside, before angling out at the top of the stretch and bested the balance by passing a few tired foes. TWIN CITY was positioned three wide in midpack around both turns, unable to muster a response when asked turning for home. WAR COURT settled three wide at the back of the pack into the first turn, drifted down to the rail on the far turn and was never a factor. AWESOME BOURBON sat four to three wide around the first turn in midpack, roused by the rider in the two path on the far turn but had no response. LITTLE NI sat off the pace and between runners through the first turn, but was never able to put together a rally.
