YODDHA travelled outside another while tracking the lead duo, ranged up outside around the turn circling three wide, pounced in the four path at the top of the stretch, dueled outside with a furlong to go on the front end, switched leads and gears coming to the sixteenth pole and edged away for the victory at the finish line. ROAD TO VERSAILLES settled in the two path with runners on both sides watching the lead pair, sat poised between foes in midturn, closed in five wide at the head of the lane and was gaining steadily on the winner in the final furlong but it wasn't enough in the end. LEMON TWIST pressed the issue on the rail in the beginning, poked a head in front still on the fence at the half, remained up top by a slim lead around the oval, still was holding on inside another two wide at the furlong marker but was outkicked in the late going to be a clear third at the wire. SPRINGER broke slowing trailing the field while moving to the outside down the backstretch, lagged behind just off the fence running around the bend, swung out widest in the seven path in mid-stretch and finish with good late energy to settle on the fringes in the end. BIG LEW had a stalking trip ahead of only the slow starter, was on hold behind a wall of runners going two to three wide on the turn at the quarter pole, stayed on the wrong lead just off the fence in the stretch run and finished up one paced losing the battle for the minors between horses. MISS D'S PRIDE had the fence while keeping a close eye on the engaged duo down the backside, waited on the rail being nudged along through the turn, hugged the rail in with a chance for a piece of the prize straightening out for home but stalled inside of runners in the final sixteenth of a mile. ALFRED BELLOWS sat all alone in midfield having the three path along the backside, took closer order coming with a brief rally four wide with a quarter mile remaining but could not find more in the drive and flattened out in the six path in upper stretch. SWIFT ATTRACTION had a slim lead on the outside down the backstretch, vied between rivals around the oval, had little left four wide turning for home and folded by mid-stretch.
