Footnotes
GENIUS OF LOVE had the rail tracking the early speed leader in the beginning, edged up inside to seize command by the half, had a slim advantage saving all the ground around the bend, was headed outside by two rivals at the quarter marker, scampered away skimming the fence entering the stretch and was kept to the task in the drive to the finish line to hold sway comfortably for the win. SHESHIMAINTENANCE broke outwards on the start, settled between foes watching the engaged duo along the backside, was shuffled back slightly with the field bunching up to be at the rear in midturn, swung out widest in the seven-path having clear run in upper stretch and surged by runners through the drive but could not threaten the winner in the end. VICTORIA ELIZABETH had good early foot to be up top just off the rail in the beginning, was content to let the inside rival go on with it at the half to have a tracking position outside down the backstretch, moved in at the five sixteenths pole when forced to go holding forward position while the outside rival was making an early rally, vied between horses for the top spot with a quarter mile from home, still remained in the hunt in the three path with runners on both sides at the top of the lane and finished up mildly in the final furlong to just last outside for the show money when crossing the finish line. JUST FOLLOW ME was brushed by the inside rival trailing at the start, improved on the fence to sit in midfield behind the lead pair midway down the back straight, kept pace behind the embattled trio at the quarter pole, shifted to the two-path turning for home and finished up gradually on the rail in the final furlong losing the photo for the third-place share at the wire. FOREST B was unhurried at the back end travelling three deep outside of horses, made an early move swooping around runners three wide through the bend to get a head in front briefly for a stride or two outside foes at the quarter pole, shifted out in the five path in the thick of things up front straightening out for the drive, could not sustain the rally and wilted by the sixteenth pole.
