Footnotes
ELUSIVE YAUPON had the outside tracking the pacesetter, moved closer shadowing the leader outside with the rider sitting still throughout the turn, put a head in front between rivals with a quarter mile from home, shook loose in the two path when asked for more in upper stretch and was kept busy until the end and just prevailed at the wire for the win with the runner up closing in quickly late. FLYING SCHULZY had a tracking role inside another down the back straight, sat poised, waiting behind the engaged duo around the turn, moved out coming on at the quarter pole, posed the main threat three wide at the top of the stretch and chased in earnest through the lane, closing the with every stride late but was denied by a slim margin at the finish line. INESCAPABLE had the rail position under a snug hold in midfield, started to narrow the gap shifting out at the five sixteenths pole, moved to the four path at the head of the lane and finished up with good late energy winning the fight inside for the third-place share at the wire. ABDUL co-trailed on the outside of the stablemate, advanced outside foes three deep by the half, took closer order circling around horses three to four wide throughout the oval, angled out to the six-path turning for home and finished up willingly in the drive to the finish line just losing the nod in the battle for the show money outside. GO OLIVIA had the four path outside of a few runners while sitting in the middle of the pack, pulled the rider closer outside to be in the conversation up top at the half, ranged up three wide on the turn to bid outside the front pair by the quarter pole, shifted four wide in the mix straightening out for the drive but idled on the rail in the final seventy yards losing a couple of positions late. APPRECIATIVELY shared the rear inside another along the backside, saved ground making little gain on the turn, improved making a rail run taking the corner scraping paint into the stretch but could not continue the momentum late and stalled in the last furlong. BEACH IS A BREEZE travelled between horses in the two path in mid-pack, was checked slightly getting shuffled back at the half, could see the field outside another on the turn at the three eighths pole, swung out widest in the seven path for the stretch run but offered little run unable to get into contention down the lane. SURFSIDE BEACH cleared off from the outer post to be loose up top on the fence by the half, narrowly maintained the advantage inside a couple of runners midway around the bend, surrendered the front to the winner by the time they straightened out for the drive while travelling on the fence, had little left late and folded inside rivals by the furlong marker. CLASSIC DISCOVERY settled in midfield between runners while in the three path down the backside, retreated with runners on either side when under a ride in midturn, shifted to the three path at the top of the lane but failed to menace in the stretch running.
