QUIPSTER was forced in a bit at the start, switched outside the early leader to stalk that one, moved to the lead by the top of the stretch, drew clear, held well while kept to task. KING'S COUNSEL was bumped at the start, faced tight quarters early, tracked the leading pair inside, came out four to five wide for the stretch run and gained steadily but needed more. LIBERTY BEACH got away sharply, moved clear and shifted in, set the pace inside shadowed by the eventual winner, could not kick on but held show honors. ROAD TO GLORY stalked from outside runners three wide, came into upper stretch five deep, ran on but missed third. JAZZY SCOOPS broke inwardly, made an early advance forward from between runners, chased three wide, weakened. COUNTRYMAN lacked early speed racing outside a rival off the pace, went three wide on the turn coming into upper stretch five deep, moved out several more paths in the stretch and ran on. ALBERTA PHAROAH was bumped into a rival at the start, was ridden along chasing inside a foe but off the rail into the turn, came out five wide in upper stretch, went evenly. TUCKAMORE broke awkwardly, raced well back early, saved ground on the turn, steadied slightly in mid-stretch, ran on. JACK SPARROW broke a step slowly and appeared to exchange some contact, lacked early speed racing inside a foe but off the rail, lugged in a bit in mid-stretch, faded. STREET SAVANT lacked early speed dropping back to last racing off the inside, failed to menace.
