Footnotes
MEW N ME had an ideal position nestled on the rail rating kindly behind the pacesetter for the first part of this route race, continued to draft behind the front runner waiting for the cue to go on the fence around the last turn, shifted three wide off the dueling pair in upper stretch and in the final furlong wore down the inside two rivals to inch away for the win outside at the wire. TAP MY DESIRE travelled on the outside of another sitting in mid-pack, progressed smartly three deep outside foes down the backside, came under a hustling ride to prompt the pace on the outside flank of the leader two wide midway through the final bend, vied between horses getting ahead in front by mid-stretch but was just out nodded late being denied at the finish line for the win in a photo. SUVARI (FR) was loose on the lead in the first turn, continued to control the tepid pace down the backside, had company outside forcing the pace at the quarter marker, dueled on the rail with two outer horses down the stretch, gave way fighting for the top spot by the seventy-yard pole and ran on well enough to be a clear third in the end. REFINEMENT was isolated behind the lead trio in the early stages, settled in midfield outside with a half mile still to run, was hard ridden making a bid on the far turn three wide by the quarter pole, could not keep up to the top three runners while in the four path at the head of the lane and finished up one paced to be all alone at the finish line holding for a minor award. PERFECT RING had the rail position stalking near the rear ahead of only the troubled starters, remained on the fence at the half in mid-division, was on hold stuck behind a tiring rival two wide at the five sixteenths pole for a couple of strides, shifted out getting clear run two furlongs from home, angled to the five path straightening out for the drive but could only finish up mildly down the lane. CHOCOLATECROISSANT (IRE) broke slow sharing the rear inside another in the beginning, could see the field at the half, offered a brief spurt three wide at the quarter pole but could not get involved widest in the six path in the stretch running. HEART TAP tracked the leader on the outside in the beginning, chased the frontrunner with rivals on both sides at the half, retreated between runners two wide midway through the final turn and had little to offer on the fence in the drive to the wire. NEW RENAISSANCE had a slow start to begin co-trailing on the outside in the first of two turns, closed the gap improving slightly three deep outside of foes down the backstretch, made little headway three wide around horses on the second bend and came up empty having the three path turning for home. STEWARDS GENERAL INQUIRY REGARDING THE BREAK WAS DEEMED ALL TO HAVE A FAIR START
