SKYDIGGER was coaxed at the start and soon made the lead, set the pace from off the inside, moved nearer the fence up the backstretch, saved ground while moderately challenged on the turn, kicked clear in upper stretch, held. LEMON SWEETS was just a bit fractious in the gate, got away well despite that, stalked from outside, went three to four wide on the turn coming into upper stretch five wide, gained steadily on the leader under urging despite drifting out near the wire but could only close the gap. SHE REIGNS came out a bit at the start, was well-placed stalking from between runners, dropped back a bit on the turn racing two to three deep, came out six to seven wide near the eighth pole seeking room, fought inside a foe to get show honors. PARTY HOTLINE bumped a rival at the start and was in tight taking up slightly, settled off the pace racing outside, went four to five wide on the turn, was forced out seven to eight deep in mid-stretch, was outfinished for third. BERMUDA BREW broke a bit awkwardly, settled at the back inside, was ridden along by the five-sixteenths, steadied when in tight just off the rail in behind runners near the furlong grounds, moved out a bit and kept on late. BELIEVE IN LUCK was in a bit tight along the rail in the early going, tracked from inside, saved ground, weakened in the stretch. LADY DAYRELLS bobbled ever so slightly at the start, dropped back between rivals up the backstretch, moved out from three to five wide on the turn coming into upper stretch six deep, failed to rally. DON'T SAY A WORD shifted in late up the backstretch, saved some ground early on the turn before being guided out, fanned five wide into upper stretch, failed to rally. ONE SHOT SCOTT was bumped at the start then urged forward between foes, pressed the eventual winner briefly late on the turn, faltered in the stretch.
